I am intrigued to see Brooklyn Kwali Orchestra at Highline, but it's supposed to start at 7:30 and I'm not motivated yet to get out there. I think I'm going to head down to Parkside Lounge for some of Afroskull's 10 year annivesary gig and then possibly up to Highline for some of Chcago Afrobeat Orchestra and then Budos Band..
Other options include Cornelia St. Cafe and Jazz Gallery. If I don't make Jazz Gallery tonight, I have to try to fit it in tomorrow night. I do want to hit Bowery Poetry Club, though, but I am concerned it's going to be too crowded.
